This journey of rediscovery was documented by blogs maintained by Grahame, Courtney and Brendan Jelley, and with photographs by Renene. Their daily feedback reports were copied and pasted or re-typed, and then reproduced in reverse order. Grahame, Renene, Courtney and Brendan departed Auckland on Christmas Day 2014 and flew to Harare - arriving same date after passing through three other countries - Australia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The reports have been captured, and combined on a daily basis, and presented in book form. Father Grahame summed up the travels by calling it appropriately a journey of re-discovery. They were all born there and now returned after an absence of fourteen years.
The production of this book would not have been possible had it not been for the numerous blog inputs and the photographs by Renene Jelley. Time did not permit a detour to her place of birth - Birchenough Maternity home in the city Gweru.
